Let’s Make Sounds like Water by Angela Readman I carry the china to the kitchen and find my mother at six sitting under the table. Cross-legged, she picks at a bowl of pickled onions and cheese, sucking her fingers.

Day 2 of @smokelong.bsky.social #ArchiveChallenge

'Let's Make Sounds Like Water' from @angelareadman.bsky.social. Love how she finds a perfect balance of funny, surreal, and profound.

Words and Music - Hares and Rabbits - BBC Sounds Welcome in spring with music and readings inspired by rabbits, hares, kits and cottontails

Lovely surprise for one of my poems, Sexing the Rabbits, to be included on BBC Radio 3's Words & Music Show. Never had a poem on the radio before, so exciting! www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

Currently reading Catherine Ayres Janus. These are poems that contain what can't be contained. A serenade to streetlights like snowdrops, cow pats, solitude, life and love. A luminous collection, I can't recommend it enough.
