That's unimaginably high (2–3 times my highest wage) to me. And I'm living cushy by the standards of my youth and family.
Since it's so important to him to be POTUS during the 250, it's damned lucky he didn't win the 2020 election.
My experience is that people associate cars with personal freedom, and spend a life reinforcing that belief, while actually chaining themselves to maintaining an expensive, complex machine, that also limits where they can go.
And in winter, local government clears the roads but sidewalk are mostly ignored (often the law says property owners must clear, but either folks choose the fines or it's not enforced at all).
The biggest challenge I tend to face is places with no sidewalk or other safe pedestrian path even though they would be a short walk. So I have to get on my bike to use the roadway (or risk walking on the road or through private property).
Not great.
I hear this all the time from folks (especially when they learn that I have never had a car and avoid being a passenger in one).
Yeah, I have to plan my time *differently* than the car people, but my life isn't impossible. It was way easier when I lived in a city, sure.

Does he know that his signature is not required? Like, not only can they override his veto, but if they're in session and just doesn't sign it (doesn't return it), then it's still law. Would love to see a strong Congress show him how unimportant the role of POTUS is (and then kick him out).
No one should trust the US. It was a dangerous thing to do when we had ordinary politicians in charge who tried to maintain some stability. It's insane to trust this regime (and likely the next, since the weaknesses have been exposed and exploited so brazenly).
