This area started out as a Western-themed area, with a Wild West Stunt Show and Animal Actors. Later, it became an Oz-themed land with a condensed Wicked stage show.

In the 2010's, it was rebranded with Hello Kitty and Sesame Street moving into the area.

Not much to see over at the new hotel. They are continuing to work on it and it should be open in a few weeks.

Not much new over at Hersheypark. The Stadium is getting work done but you can’t see much of it from the walkways.

They have a claw machine setup. This got a lot of attention which is why I only have the one photo… but I will say that you still have to buy what you β€œwin” out of the machine, or put it back on the display.

Quick trip over to Hershey’s Chocolate World to see the Spring setup. Butterbeer Kisses are back (and appear to be the only returning tie-in).

Peach pie? Peach jelly? Peach tea?

I’m more of a pear guy myself. Now that one seems harder to find.

There was already diminishing returns on the second one. I think the most popular thing to come out of Monsters University was this hat that sold pretty hard at the Disney parks:

I don’t have super high hopes for it, but the first episode will be hosted by Tina Fey, so..

Six Flags Entertainment - Enchanted Parks & EPR Acquiring Seven Parks from Six Flags This is something I'm not seeing much discussion on. Isn't this a paltry amount compared to the amount of property being off loaded? Palace Entertainment sold for around a billion dollars, and I don't...

Selling off smaller parks ($45m/year collectively) for $331m short-term, that can be put into other parks with larger growth potential.

Better than closing/trying to sell land, which happened with SFA? Although I'm not sure the land is as valuable in these cases like SF St. Louis.

The management team behind Enchanted Parks is small, but does seem to have some industry vets. We'll be in "wait and see" mode for a while on this one.

The closest one to me is in Winchester, VA. I don't know why they won't come closer North.

Hurricane Harbor Oklahoma City and Hurricane Harbor Concord (California, near SF Discovery Kingdom), maybe too, as these are also owned by EPR.

There's just no perfect system; anything will carry a learning curve for guests and create situations. One common complaint I used to deal with on the front lines was "Hey, this isn't 'skip-the-line,'" which it isn't... it's access to a priority queue, but a ratio ultimately controlled by humans.

Fun Plex in Omaha have announced a new coaster called Mammoth

It's just a small 40 foot tall Preston & Barbieri Anaconda... but when it opens it will be the only non-children's coaster in the entire state, which only has 4 coasters

IOA has a need for a big show like Bourne or Untrainable in the other UOR parks. Toon Lagoon Theater could check that box with a Wicked show (would need to enclose or rebuild that theater, though).
