I also have a whole bunch of camera/film related stuff I need to photograph and list on eBay, but I don’t think that is happening this weekend. I think instead I will just gather things together to work on the next time I have a burst of energy…
Oh, and cleaned litter boxes and made the beds…
In cleaning out this desk, I found so much stuff I forgot even existed. One thing was my favorite fountain pen, which I thought I had lost.
Maybe those tasks can wait until tomorrow. I’m kind of tired after my busy morning.
Still need to do taxes and package up a couple of boxes that need to go out to friends and family.
I got both of these things done, and I took out the trash and recycling, swapped out the garden flags, glued a wooden box back together, put a bunch of prints in an album, gave the cats new toys, and worked on fixing my printer. I am feeling quite accomplished for a Saturday afternoon.
Some days I just can’t grind for eight hours straight, so I do as much as I can then stop. That means sometimes work happens on the weekends. I tell my students not to EXPECT responses on the weekends, however.
Cleaning the desk serves a couple of purposes. It gives me a working space back, but I also did it because I want it clean so I can use the desktop for a photography project.

Accountability post: today I am going to put away laundry and clean off my desk.
Going to be overcast all day here — but it’s warming up, and the rain has stopped. So I think this afternoon, I will try to get out and shoot, too.
I got an idea for a photo series that hopefully will translate to postcards and notecards that I can give away as gifts. Now to set about making plans to do the thing…
I may have to go through my typewriter collection and make images of each different model. That would be a great idea for a series.

I have a whole bunch of these that I use for projects with students. They are so fun!
Lifelong migraine sufferer here. Have you ever tried rubbing pure peppermint oil on your temples and below your eyes? Burns like hell and will make you cry, but that’s how it works. Can sometimes give relief when the drugs fail. Hope something helps you soon

Depending on the camera, quite often the answer for me is that the camera cost less than the film plus the processing.
