Still thinking about the Olympics USA Women's hockey game from yesterday. The late third period goal by Knight to send the game to OT. The sweet dangle by Keller for the OTGWG. Frankel played an amazing game in the net. A great performance from the enter team all tourney. These ladies deserved gold.
Pupils and new transmog aside, the story in Liadrin's new animated short has been the best we've seen in a very long time. Its unfortunate that the writers at Blizzard have wildly different takes of each character. We never know which 'version' of a character is going to take center stage leaving the audience whiplashed. As Liadrin is one of my favorite characters, I really loved this look at her story and highlighting her own crisis of faith and rise from it. I hope we see more of her fortitude in Midnight and not a regression of her character. Artistically I loved seeing all the Paladin movies in animated form. Even Alonsus Faol auto attacking in the background with smite was such a joy to watch. Bravo to the trailer team!
