The only one with a "safe space" in our house is our English Bulldog, and he needs it/wants it
He can tell when it's bed time, goes in and lays down on his cushy 3" foam pad and waits for me to close the gate so that he can sleep safely
All the other dogs use our bed as their sleeping "safe place"
