If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

The sheer audacity of promoting AI slop, created by means of wildly unethical exploitation, as lovingly created art, and even ripping off copyrighted Disney character designs for their campaign, and hawking all of that under the guise of "inclusivity" and "togetherness" is truly mind-boggling.

I'm not sure that this is as cataclysmic as the graphic indicates. Seen in context (over a year), it definitely is a dip, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that this is the AI bubble bursting.
I certainly think it will happen. I just don't think this is it yet.

I recently came across the notion that, "What people are praising, is not hard work. It's effortless success". And I think AI tools capitalize on that. It doesn't require work or effort. It just gives you the thing, so you can feel smart and capable, even though you haven't accomplished anything.
