A majestic white haired angel with three wings attached to his halo that floats behind his back. On the halo is the symbol. He is a mixture of feathers, scales, and metal armor on a seemingly humanoid body. His face is silver with bold blue eyes and a look of authority. He casts a frost spell in his right hand.

New Year--New Auriel. He's got some complicated and metaphysical shit behind his story that I will probably never explain (He is very different from the biblical Uriel/Auriel). #OCart 🐍

I've just noticed this sometimes leads to everyone needing to state their moral opinion on the issues of marginalized people without the consultation of their peers who walk the experience.

Well meaning doesn't necessarily mean correct. I'd prefer people boost the voices of marginalized people rather than speak for them. It's okay to feel like something is wrong and not know enough to speak about it openly--you don't need to have a stake in every conversation about marginalized groups.

Hey guys...This is not directed at anyone in particular but I'm saying this as a native american. I get that the way native-coded writing in fantasy can be problematically misrepresented, but if you aren't living that experience you aren't uniquely understanding of it.

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.
