Today, I took a patient outside for the first time in their stay. That is always a massive privilege for me.
We talked through some struggles & they felt relieved.

When this little girl’s brother died, she decided bunnies were his spirit animal. Our @3wishesprogram.bsky.social sent her family this—it has the song she & her parents wrote for him, with his heart rhythm as the drums in the background. I’m not crying, you’re crying.

Animal-Assisted Therapy in ICU
In an UK survey, 30 ICU provide AAT with dogs, weekly, mostly 30-60 minutes. A lot of regulations, barriers, and solutions.
