I'm up too late working on my next lesson (civics/debate/forensics),, the paper for my MAT classes, writing, music/dj stuff, pictures, or playing games. Unless I know you IRL or we've been interacting I'm likely ignoring DMs. *Opinions are my own*
I've enjoyed subbing the past few years, but I'm definitely looking forward to having my own classroom now that I have my degree and my initial license. Getting benefits again would be really nice too.

Due to timing things I didn't get my initial teaching license until after the school year started here. I have my license but am working as a substitute still for now
The school year is off to a pretty good start.
The last 4 days have been busy. Going out to shows 3 nights and a club night. My body is letting me know that I am seriously nowhere near 25 anymore. 🤣
I'm glad the school year hasn't quite started yet for me.
I am confused by and frustrated with it nearly every day.
I think I've got my music library in a mostly functional state again. Time to go back to fighting with OBS. That's a future me problem though.
It's been a really long time. I'm definitely watching this one. I may have to see what happens with this whole season.
I made it out dancing last night. It's the second time since I got done with school. It's so nice to get out and do something I love and put cares aside for a while.

This is one of those moments where you get out of the way while your enemies are at each other's throats.
Of course, I have no belief that anyone on the left will be able to take advantage of this. At least they're staying out of the way for now though.
There is a bell outside the K-State Education building. It has been a tradition since the '90s for Ed students ring the bell when they are done.

The last 2 years have been quite a journey. I'm feeling good about what I've accomplished and am looking forward to the future!

It's been a long time since I've been in a Tornado Warning area. I haven't seen anything but the tiny town I'm living in was specifically named. I've definitely felt the pressure change a few times though.

I'm finally nearing the finish line. Feeling great about the work I have done in this program. My graduation ceremony is this Friday!
I have one class that is only offered in the first half of the summer block that I have to complete to make it truly official. I am not worried about that though.
I'm in a weird liminal state. This school year and my master's program are winding down, but I don't know what happens next. It's weird not knowing where I'm going to land and saying goodbye not knowing if I'll be around these teachers and students at all next year.
It looked like there was a 90 day delay built in before things get really out of control. Just enough time for it to have dropped out of the news cycle before the military rolls up to deal with a protest.
In case anyone has been wondering, "Why tariffs? This seems so stupid."
It's just history rhyming.

I'm having a difficult time trying to remember what people who have free time do. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.
It's the second to last day of my student teaching. We're on block schedule so I've already started saying my goodbyes. I'm still going to be around as a sub in the district for the rest of the semester, but I have no idea what next year is going to be. It's going to be a couple of emotional days.
That looks like a really great program!
This was such a stupid thing to try to cut unless you're actively trying to make everything online less secure. I was shocked when I heard this was happening. I'm really glad it's getting taken taken care of but there was definitely a moment of panic.
I thought @wired.com put together a solid resource with this video. It is good to have all this in one place for whatever you might need it for.

I feel this so much.
I keep moving forward with my degree, but it feels really weird sometimes.
I know no matter how bad things get finishing is the right call. Still, it can be hard to focus with everything else going on.
