It's all politically insane. Markwayne Mullin won the special election for OK Senate in 2022 taking 60% of the vote. He was ready to be on the ballot this summer for primary season. Why would he give up a potential 'sinecure' in the Senate, for the uncertainty of Trump's impulsivity?
