Hi #KaleidoSaturday I haven't had time/energy to do much this week but did get out for a walk at Kirkstall Abbey, Leeds. I've "kaleidoscoped" (new verb?!) two of the photos I took that day. 🙃

Wow! That's further south than us! I guess the eastern side of England does tend to get worse weather than us for the most part. We're on the slightly more sheltered side of the Pennines.

It's been a few years now since we've had snow that deep in Yorkshire. Was that further north than West Yorks? What we've been having this winter is rain, rain and more rain. Droughts, and the odd heatwave, over the summers though. It's getting silly (and worrying).

No, I can't cope with too much heat, same as I can't cope with too much cold, so I don't think Australia would be any good for me. I can just about cope with England - though the weather is reaching both extremes more and more - and British plants are lovely.

Yes, crocuses. Here are some white ones in front of the abbey ruin. Glad your carer has the scooter sorted. Take it easy when you get back on it - no zooming round corners at speed - lol!

Neither of us feel as bad today as we thought we would, though we are still aching a bit. Having a rest day today, then planning another little trip tomorrow (while the weather stays fine). Not sure if my husband will be joining me though - depends on how he feels. How are you now after your fall?

Managed a walk today with my husband - the first time I've walked a bit since my achilles tendon problem flared up. It was very Spring-like (see photo) and picked me up no end. We've both got lots of aches and pains now though (he has hip & knee arthritis).

Had a nasty thought today. What if Trump is like an arsonist who starts a fire deliberately in order to be hailed a hero when he puts it out? ie. what if he's starting wars in order to get his coveted peace prize when (he thinks!) he 'stops' them? Terrifying thought!

((hugs)) I feel for you! Thank goodness it seems to be easing. Is your scooter still OK to use once you feel up to it? Do you have a system where the doctor can come out to you?

Oh, Marie, I've only just seen this when I looked at your most recent posts after you'd said you were still sore all over in your latest one. Have you had someone look at it to see if you're OK? Hope you feel better soon.
