It's been a while.

Today I'm going to the Sens game, it's my first game in almost 2 years. I've pretty much been hibernating at home.

To be honest I hardly go anywhere these days so it doesn't matter that much.

It's actually a bit bigger than my old car. I went from a Hyundai Elantra to a VW Golf Alltrack.

My extended family is so bizarre. I found out from someone that is not even family that my cousin passed away on Monday, she was 57. She had Huntington's disease which is also in my family but no one talks about it. It's always the giant elephant in the room. I just don't get it.

The thing is, she loves the dog & won't do anything to him so he could easily lay down next to her (he's only 26lbs so he's not big). He's just too afraid to get too snuggly with the cats. It's pretty funny. I have to try to get a video.

We got a new bed for the dog & she has taken it over. He's a little afraid of the cats so he doesn't dare try to kick her off.

Olivia's school opened in 2006 & does not have A/C which blows my mind.

Unfortunately it has, I've been pretty sick on & off for the last year. I had to go on LTD when we were mandated back to the office. My employer, even with a medical note would not make accommodations for me. This is just one piece of the puzzle so far, I am glad I'm seeing a GI specialist though.

I'm not allowed to eat today & part of tomorrow (only clear fluids) meanwhile everything I see online is food food food. I'm actually so hungry right now.

Saw a friend of mine today. They were recently diagnosed with a terminal illness & I'm usually their designated dog sitter when they're away. They asked me if I would adopt her when they're unable to care for her anymore. 😭 It would be such an honour to continue to care for that sweet pup.

I'm tired of being sick almost every day. 😭 I've had to cancel so many plans over the last year, things I was looking forward to. Finally getting tested for Crohn's & Colitis in less than 2 weeks.
