Could work if we argue for more workplace flexibility in general. My wife instituted a 4 day working week through at her workplace in 2023. Their staff retention and productivity increased as a result. Teams and staff choose which days and hours work best for them and the business and hey presto!

At a friend's funeral yesterday reminded me of the importance of staying connected, but also living more offline. There were no phones. No selfies. No one trying to jump up and down for attention. Just friends and family remembering, chatting, mourning and celebrating our friend.

If someone had told me 20 years ago that one day l’d be number 1 in breast cancer on Amazon I’d… probably not have been too happy about it.

Still, this is nice to see, today!

Such a great night at Ryaknots Theatre's scratch night last Thursday. Not only was it great to see other works in progress, I couldn't have asked for a better cast to bring "Carrots for Mum" to life in such a short space of time! Kudos to Arabella Fraser, Ruth Piggot and Lucy Eddington! #theatre

What a lovely post David! And yes, I think this is a much better way to encourage writers to keep sending work. I don't live in London but I love the Royal Court and any way I can take part and develop as a writer is a Godsend at the moment. Thanks for sharing!
