And I'd be expected to perform them, not by my own desire, but merely to play my part as a proper suitor."

Leo again "I really am content with what we have. Everything I do with you is because I genuinely want to do it." Takumi then looks uneasy and starts thinking "Oh. I see. Leo thought he'd be married off someday. That makes sense. For some reason I never really thought about marriage, even though my situation was similar. Really, whenever I looked towards my future, I couldn't see anything in front of me. Not love, or family, or the fate of the kingdom. Just nothing.

Do you have any way of dealing with it long term? Like not in the moment but a way to not let it build up inside of you over time?

Totally agree with you there. I also tried jokes as a way of letting them know some things said out loud are not acceptable and some seemed to get the hint

This is so true, yes. I totally agree and want to somehow not let them get away easy with saying these things but without escalating or me biting my tongue and having a whole week ruined by having to relive them saying those things 🫠

This is the thing… we’re supposed to be present in case we’re needed so I can’t shut myself out with headphones. 😩 And snitches are really frowned upon and I actually want to be on good terms with my colleagues, if for nothing else for future organising.
