Over the taffrail leant a silent black figure, watching the stars. It was Mont-gomery's strange attendant. It looked over its shoulder quickly with my movement, then looked away again. It may seem a little thing to you, perhaps, but it came like a sudden blow to me. The only light near us was a lantern at the wheel. The creature's face was turned for one brief instant out of the dimness of the stern towards this illumination, and I saw that the eyes that glanced at me shone with a pale-green light. I did not know then that a reddish luminos-ity, at least, is not uncommon in human eyes. The thing came to me as stark inhumanity.
Such a simple but incredibly unsettling passage. So good.
Uploading a pic of me posing with a steel replica of the master sword as a deterrent for my dating profile.
Yeah, dating apps are whack.
I don't see how me not messaging every day is a red flag.
Me on Monday .
Holy shit

James Goldeneye referencing the popular second level Facility
Watching Goldeneye as if it's a movie adaption of the hit game, going "oh, I recognize that level! He walked right past the secret gun!" and "man, this part really doesn't adapt well into a movie..."
A girl holds hands with a pikachu, and says, "pikachu, we will do it, we will electrocute timothΓ©e chalamet". The pikachu replies, "yes master".
It must be done.

In the belly of the divine beast as we kick off session four of our first playthrough of Ocarina of Time on N64.
Kit has played the 3DS remake, but I've never played either version through before.
This ship is full of monsters!
And you're just sitting there, drinking Pepsi max!
I was reading the Wikipedia article for "Leeroy Jenkins" when I came across this sentence which filled me with such despair that I had to step away from the computer and stare longingly out the window while contemplating suicide.

Nanu the grey brown tabby sleeping on his side, seen from the waist up. His chest looks huge and then it gets really skinny below his ribcage. He is downright placid.
I don't know how he does it. The shapes.

It is literally the easiest thing in the world to get a medical discharge. I know of someone who got it for claiming erectile dysfunction. There are so many resources for how to leave. If you stay it is a choice and a genocidal one. And I have no sympathy

So much online conservatism these days is just "I miss being a kid"
Demon's Souls on CRT continues, further into the Valley of Defilement.
I love how mundane the circumstances of the Moonlight Great Sword are in this game.
Down in the filth hole, giving warmth to a pod of giant slugs, forgotten to gods and men.
What an inspiration. β₯οΈ

Heathcliff sits contemplatively in an armchair, surrounded by several framed pictures of meat, with a few pieces of meat hanging from the ceiling on wires. Grandma Nutmeg stands at the doorway with her friend and says "His aesthetic is meat core."

programmers are always posting like "worked on tracking down an issue with a Flurble deployment for twelve hours. the problem wasn't in Flurble at all - it was in the Gumbies install. It turns out if you install Gumbies 3.0 over Gumbies 2.7 and don't do a cache flush on all the client spiders they'll get stuck in the crystal maze." then you look up Gumbies and the site is one of those scroll scroll scroll types with one sentence per page, like "GUMBIES is a lean, expressive sharding sandcube for testing and deploying large scale Woodchips playgrounds. GUMBIES automates and streamlines away watersliding phases, meaning your team can get right to the chipping. See why Microsoft, OpenAI and Bloingo have embraced GUMBIES in their Woodchips workflows." and you get to the bottom and you're like I want this I guess but I still don't know what it is
