Itβs here! I can finally share the product of 9 monthsβ research: the story of Tristram Cary and the surprisingly long life of his 60s soundtracks, particularly The Daleks. Itβs on YouTube now! Enjoy!

Itβs tomorrow!
My video on Tristram Cary and the life of his soundtrack to The Daleks premieres on YouTube tomorrow, Friday at Noon EST!
Thatβll be one hour of your weekend sorted.
Hey friends, my latest video, the product of 9 months work, is finished! The story of composer Tristram Cary's The Daleks soundtrack, and its becoming library music... or did it? Tune in this Friday Noon EST to find out
My Patreons are in on it already

The big dramatic ones! Paris of course (40), Genesis (27), Robots of Death (33). Would love it either with original orchestration or expanded for a larger ensemble
Well, I havenβt read it yet, and it is about how maps get it wrong sometimesβ¦
Left: The book This Way Up - When Maps Go Wrong (and why it matters) by Mark Cooper-Jones and Jay Foreman. Right: Doctor Who The Collection: Season 13 Blu-ray set.
Both arrived on the same day, which is why this is an excellent day!
Must-listen for all of us who care not only about missing Who, but the preservation of film collections in general. Well done Tim!
I am prepared to take the risk for more Britishness
At last!!
I cannot WAIT! Worth shipping to NYC!
Despite Bluesky being extremely nice, and/but, despite the fact that I am struggling to find ways to engage, I must inform you of drastically important news!
You could be watching the first three minutes of my latest DSisDW Season 2.5 video.

This is a bit embarrassing, but:
I bought the Season 7 Collection many months ago, but am JUST watching it now, as a reward for recording the narration of my latest Season 2.5 video. Hopefully you will see this ASAP.
If you see this post your Doctor Who Drag Name

I have not!

Attached is an important message for my Patreon subscribers!

I did a equipboard page for the late Dudley Simpson.

I did list some of the keyboards and synths he used in Dr Who and Blake7.
Based on notes from Mark Ayres who knew him personally.
@jessjurkovic.bsky.social I hope this express interests.
Cheers!
Well, I have some experience with this. Any chord in particular?
Overture CXXVIII or something
Iβll allow myself only one criticism: perhaps there should be an overture? Then all the unneeded or misplaced music could find a home there?
Just watched the #DoctorWho episode βLuxβ and I clearly have a type. Like βThe Devilβs Chordβ I mostly sat there smiling, sometimes open-mouthed at the brilliance and (my overused word) audacity of the whole thing.
Thanks to everyone who has watched Reuniting Roman Theme, and thanks also for your comments.
If you havenβt seen it, now is as good a time as any! Youβve never heard Roman Theme like this before.

Reunited for the first time since 1969 (so I think), itβs Dudley Simpsonβs Roman Theme! youtu.be/qwCNqNsY_1U?...
Get ready for a new Season 2.5 video tomorrow, Noon Eastern, on YouTube! Itβs about reconstructing a single track of music from The War Games (original) thatβs never heard from beginning to end, piecing it together using the programmeβs soundtrack.
Prepare for Reuniting Roman Theme!
Could lead to dancing. Or Coupling.
Season 2.5βs second video is ready for release, and my Patreons are already watching it. Just have to wait and see if Iβm allowed to use on YouTube certain clips of 1960s era Doctor Who to discuss very interesting and perhaps even novel points regarding certain clips of 1960s era Doctor Who.
