Hi. My name is Kris & I am an addict. I’m addicted to starting new fibre craft projects. Follow my journey towards finishing or frogging all the knit & crochet wips cluttering up my house. There are loads. This could take a while. Location: Qld Australia

It’s hard because it’s worth it. Practice practice and practice some more. One day soon you’ll be wondering why you ever thought it was hard.
That is perfection ❤️❤️❤️
I’ll post pictures as the project progresses and when it’s done 😁
Thank you. This one is for a secret art show and as usual I’ve left it till the 11th hour to actually get started. I’m a bit excited about how it’s coming along.
Pockets are most important ❤️
I’ve started a scrappy embroidery project. Why? Because I can. I’ve had some Holly Hobbie style bed sheets laying around for years and today is the day I make some stitch art with it.

You can do it! 📣
And so the final chapter of my #westknitsmkal2025 #musikal2025 has commenced. I’m not doing the designer’s clue 4 as brioche kicks my butt every time & I wish to finish this year. Also the other option which is garter stitch was a bit 🥱, so I’m making it up based on clue 2 of the pattern. 🧶

😢
You are not alone. It’s cringe
Rest well and let your hands recover. They will thank you for it.
I’m not usually one for flounce but I’m totally down with it for this cutie.
Colourfully speckled knitted short sleeve top with lace details and a peplum waist hanging on a hanger with a swing chair and house siding in the background
We have peplum! She is finished blocked and has had her first outing.
I love her ❤️

Such a simple pattern yet so pretty.

I was surprised when I tried it on how cute it is. I’m going to finish the sleeves then wash and block. Will wear I once and see how I feel.
It’s so cute! A very unexpected result.
Argh!
I messed up my top!
Missed a step in a 5 row lace section and doubled the stitches making an accidental flutter waist.
Contemplating whether to finish off the sleeves and let it be or frog back and fix.
What do you think #knitsky ? 🧶
It’s very easy to work with.
I love this yarn. Have a couple of projects made of this in various colourways.
Oh gosh I’ve not had the courage to do 2aat. Well done 😃
That is a beautiful pair of socks! 🧡🩷💜
I really like this pattern and your colour selection. I wish I was that patient.
Gorgeous. Your colour selection is perfect.
Oh its glorious 🧡🩷❤️💜💓
What a gorgeous rainbow 🌈 💓
All of them!!!!
Oooo this looks pretty and rather interesting
Clue 3 is complete! I’m a bit sad about it. Why? Because clue 4 is brioche and it’s hard so I’m going to do the garter stripe version instead which is a bit yawn 🥱
