More than two years ago, Utah Republicans commissioned a study on gender-affirming care for youth. It just came back, and the conclusion is unambiguous: full recommendation in support of gender-affirming care.

Logan Rozosβs remarks span 80 seconds & comprise a mere 159 words.
But because those words condemn genocide & call for justice, NYU is denying him his diploma, seeking further punishment, & publicly condemning him.
This is backwards.

I'm so sorry. I wish I could punch cancer in the crotch for you.
While Gavin Newsom, governor of a state Trump lost by 20 points, is throwing marginalized communities under the bus to pander for an ill-fated presidential bid, Andy Beshear, governor of a state Trump won by 30 points, is going out of his way to defend marginalized communities as a moral imperative.

Thanks, Past Me.
If you want to use a picture of people holding hands to support your zionist petition, maybe don't use an AI generated image of multiple races doing so because your life is too white-washed to get the real thing.
You're just helping to prove that zionism is racism.
I'll say it again:
The cognitive dissonance used to weaponize antisemitism in defense of Isreal's actions is insulting. How are we as a collective Jewish people not seeing this? Why are we not ALL calling this out?
"Israel has a right to exist" stopped being a good reason.
Page One must have been crowded.
So NYT puts it on Page 13. π€‘
@schooley.bsky.social
The willful cognitive dissonance used to weaponize antisemitism to defend Israel's actions is, quite frankly, insulting to us as Jews.
We can and must do better.
Don't learn your history from memes. Thank you, @qasimrashid.com for this!
MAGAs are tracking autism, menstrual cycles, criticism of Trump, criticism of Israel, Trans people, & anyone who even dares whisper DEIβbut NOT vaccination rates, measles, COVID, firearms, firearm deaths, climate change, or food regulations.
This is an unholy recipe for fascism & national disaster.
You know things are bad when my elderly military veteran parents are asking me to go to protests with them.

Glad House Dems are demanding a full briefingβbecause immigration agents showed up at L.A. elementary schools, and DHS lied about it.
Watch the video. Hear the truth from L.A.βs superintendent. Then ask why the hell Homeland Security is targeting kids.
Donβt let this go!!!
So if you need someone to yap at someone who parked in your spot, or get rid of the yahoo whose dog poops in your yard, or call customer service to ask why your delivery changes weren't implemented (I'm looking at you, UPS), consider giving me $50 to be the asshole.
When people describe "little dog syndrome", I identify with that, because I'm the fearless little asshole who mouths off at the wrong person at the wrong time. Remember, I'm the short dog in my family.
It's disconcerting to be tall among others.
I'm not short (I'm 5'7"). But I am short for my family.
For context, I'm only in the past 3-4 years the same height as my 68-year-old mother, who is shrinking. My siblings and dad are all 6' or taller. My younger brother has been taller than me since we were 10 and 8.
I have a complex.
Billy is concerned that he hasn't been featured in a #Caturday post for a while.
I don't get to buy the cute, easy glasses from online shops, either. My glasses need special lenses that cost $$$, which offsets the cheap frames. And I'm in the same boat as a whole lot of other USians with terrible or no vision insurance.
New:
Though the Rabbis & later commentators crafted a narrative in which the Exodus was one of "just us,"-- for, by Israelites-- a closer look reveals that this was never the case.
Our liberation has always been collective, has always been about who else comes with us.

Anyway, at the link are some other seder sources and resources, and I'll keep adding to this thread. For starters:

I have severe myopia with astigmatism. I legally cannot drive without corrective lenses. I can't see beyond 12 inches in one of my eyes without everything being blurry. My prize for this is paying hundreds of dollars per year (with good insurance) because I literally cannot see without help.
Can we talk about how expensive it is to not have 20/20 vision in the USA?

Short thread on white supremacy as US policy:
Israel just killed a US Citizen & child in the West Bank & US Govt is silent because he was Palestinian.
Meanwhile they're expressing outrage that US citizens are being held hostage in Gaza.
Why don't US citizens matter when the IDF kills them?
