I don't play this game but I love the designs i see every time... and that third one, with the almost opal colour AHHHH
Also made a version without the glass and schmutz in the way so we can clearly see the character designs.
So when asked for any feedback on a character design I had nothing but a note that the parents should be a big ole lop with a MASSIVE dewlap and a skinny tall hare or jackalope, and ended up thinking it would be fun to make a old family portrait style thing and flex / practice my prop muscles.

I got costochondritis once when my ribcage got inflamed bc of how much i was coughing with yet another bout of bronchitis. I woke up in such severe pain I thought i was having a heart attack. You have all of my empathy on that one omfg
So, to me... I didn't change gender. I fixed it. If I DIDN'T transition, that would be me 'changing gender' to try and 'fit' as a 'woman'. I was born a man, I just happened to not have the dangly parts

GODDAMNIT I got some of their work before and i love it, I hate this current timeline with it's bullshit. ;;
We live in a world where if we don't have a phone or access to the internet, life becomes near impossible, at least in my neck of the woods. Comparing that to AI which you literally do NOT need in your life is like saying... "wait, you take insulin? I thought you were against drugs".
And even if it WEREN'T a plagiarism machine, we further cannot ignore the harm it does. Nor can we sit here and say "well we use the INTERNET... we use our PHONES"... when our phones and the internet in masse is not made up of energy sucking, pollution spewing, heat beaming data centers.
If every subscription to genai also sent out royalties to every person who has ever had their work 'utilized' in training data, sure. But that doesn't happen. I refuse AI generated references. To accept one is to say "okay, I don't mind that other artists have been harmed by this individual action".
Additionally in the comments people were defending the original poster of the video, saying "people have to eat" and "we need to make rent"... Which I could agree with, if it weren't for the fact that the client is using unpaid labour from me, and all my peers.
The fact that (op) thinks a person could NOT do this is ... honestly depressing. What do you think 99 percent of design is? Csuite office bros saying "I dunno, it needs more pizzaz" or "I'll know it when I see it". We have been doing this longer than AI has even been a gleam in Alan Turing's eye.
and through discussing with them their likes and dislikes, seeing other characters that they like, I can make options that I feel would suit the client's tastes and I have NOT failed at this yet.
