Man I could not with the culture and vibe of Mastodon.

I am pro Content Warnings but Mastodon’s culture of “You must CW literally everything ever or we will yell at you!” was insufferable.

And it’s not their fault, it was just a completely different screen ecosystem than we had.

Kids today were never like “I mean I guess I’ll watch Dennis the Menace because nothing better is on”.

There’s a really interesting generational divide happening where when Gen X and Millennials were kids we grew up on a steady diet of Old TV, like Threes Company and MASH were on all the time growing up, but Zoomers and Alphas grew up almost exclusively on modern streaming content.
