The Toronto house I grew up in had one of these “milk boxes” but I don’t remember milk delivery, it must have stopped in our area by then. Definitely used the same type of glass bottles since they are plentiful in vintage shops and people’s basements.
Ironically, the box on the side of the house that I put it in was originally for milk deliveries (by bottle), it has an outside door and an inner one.
lol - very specific to certain provinces, not all of Canada. That’s the outer bag that holds 3 inner bags, each of which slides into a specific jug with a handle. I was using the outer bag to hold some other items to deliver to a neighbour.
