To be frank I cant recall now. It was another analyst though.
I cant say I have the eye to assess 1st v 2nd round, but if Mendoza is 1st round material, I wouldn't question taking him at all - even with the rest of our needs.
Value wise - how would you compare taking Mendoza versus trading the pick to fill in the gamut of other needs? I read somewhere that Mendoza would normally be a 2nd rounder but there just aren't many QBs in this draft.
