I think GitS is like Evangelion, fans asking for more angels, more Asuka, more Rei, completely missing the message the work wants to send. I can understand that (I was one of them), but it's kind of sad, because there's no learning but just entertaining

There's nothing in the manga that can reach the puppet master arch peak, so what's the point? We're just fans who ask for more Major Kusanagi ignoring the GitS message that is always the same...

Please, leave GitS be... the first movie had already said everything there was to say and it was amazing. But it's had its day, let's move on.
