Those are great! I have a couple of boxed canvas reproductions on my walls but those are fantastic - and I've actually seen Monolith Monsters, which was actually good fun π
@theycallmejc
They really do... I am a (bad) 3D modeller/printer, hopefully improving DM, Father, Stepfather, Husband, Son, Brother - I follow people who say interesting things or make models that make me jealous, and block the uninteresting, unpleasant or irritating.

If anybody local in Britain can help, or knows someone who canβ¦
... or he stepped on some Lego
My gods, that's terrifying π¬
I do like the coining of the term 'eDook', which could be applied to any literature written by AI π
Today I learned the word for fossil barf: Regurgitalite (and not 'Emetolite', as I had originally guessed)
Every day I learn something new (even when it's a bit nasty)
I am pleased - 'Falling Skies' is back on Netflix π
I see a prequel with the lead character being the one sensible person in Fermi's design team and the joys of being ignored in favour of flashy yet stupid ideas...
I'm sure there'll be an exception for anyone with over eight or nine figures in the bank...
I has assumed a political class so out of touch they thought that either Melange was real or they needed to put an embargo on imports from Kessel...
Currently looking for work and projects. Give me a shout or a DM if you have a project - ttrpg, card game, etc that's in need of illustration/art/concepts.
There really is a Ron for all seasons π
I have vague recollections of drinking in there once or twice... very vague recollections...
Rediscovering my creativity a few years back was a revelation for me, and being able to bring a matured 'engineering' sensibility to my models has been a nice combo of old enthusiasm and new skills. (I believe I am what is classified as 'late middle aged')
YT Thumbnail reading 'I've found history's WEIRDEST pub names. What's a "Swan With Two Necks"?
Proof that YT is always listening - this popped up on my lists just now:
Now I'm trying to think of a funny I can make about the cheap substitute for Peroni they've adopted...
The problem is that ships have become horribly generic in design since the advent of the Wetherspoons Class...
Those Selenites never stood a chance...
Possibly sacrilege, but I prefer Cobb's drawings to the eventual realisation, though even Cobb's designs vary between depictions of supposedly the same ship
That is stunningly helpful, thank you!
Yup, that's the one - It's a surprisingly complex shape, but it's getting there, alongside a few other projects
*Finally* able to talk about the Star Trek @sciencemuseum.org.uk team-up we are organising for the 60th anniversary! Special events, world first film season, exclusive merch, props and costumes from the Paramount archives, and more! www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/star-trek-60
Prosecution: And how would you characterise the weapon in this attempted murder?
Police scientist: The murder weapon was clearly visible at the scene, and indeed from 30 km from the scene. It weights 350 billion tonnes and is made of granite...
I expect to see a statement containing the words '...but we must not allow ourselves to become complacent...' meaning they'll still screw us over...
I originally typed 'Helliest of hell-pigs' before I remembered the word 'hellish' - it's been a busy morning π
Possibly the most hellish of hell-pigs, then? π
Is this the final proof we need that Lego has existed far longer than we ever thought?
Proving that I only watch the very latest televisual entertainment, I have just started with ER season 1 :)
I always figured it was a 180 degrees hemisphere of kaboom
