That's similar to how it was when I started, two years lived experience and a letter from a psyc that wasn't even a gender specialist just to have a referral sent off. There are more people paying for private gender care here and think that 6 months is a long wait, those sweet summer children
Is that a particularly American view? Because it's not something I've heard here in the UK. It's currently impossible to get on T via the NHS before about 21, no referrals before 18, a 2-4 year waiting list and two appointments at least 6 months apart once you get to the gender clinic
