I shut down my consulting business a few years ago.
It took much more paperwork than I anticipated.
Paying the government a fee for the privilege of closing my business was not on my bingo card 😊

In my working world, before I retired, people running a business with less than $10 million turnover, are mostly too busy to waste time on business lunches.
Of course they do have business lunches, but nothing like the long, all expenses paid lunches that some Politicians frequent 😊
