We played 375 hours of Dragon Quest Builders 2 over the past six years
A grown ass adult cannot clock these types of numbers (granted there's a lot of pandemic time in there)
This is my understanding!
I have been telling my daughter this to hype her up since Dragon Quest Builders 2 is her favorite game that isn't Roblox or Minecraft
cover art by Greg Melo: Bucky O'Hare and Batman play an NES as a shark (from Jaws, surely) pops out of the television. Also note a Rambo poster on the wall, a Ghostbusters proton pack on the table, and a small box that says "Willow"

This week's game is Radirgy de Gojaru!, the bite-sized Japan-only 3DS entry that's based on a mode from the Xbox 360-exclusive Radirgy Noa Massive. Such an odd approach didn't earn it any favors at the time, but I found some fun in visiting it now and laying out all the details:
Iβd totally missed this until someone messaged me about it, but NCS Corpβs Mega Drive strategy game Vixen 357 is getting an English-language Western release!
A lot of the late localizations weβve been getting recently have been shooters, so this is a nice surprise!

a character named the googler declares that it will googlerize him, some kind of jester guy
www.hardcoregaming101.net/podcasts/top... We covered two real classics on the hg101 podcast recently, a new classic and the game that features the googler for some reason, if you need something to listen to for a couple of hours you won't regret it!
Local Barnes & Noble is stocking Game Informer. Nice to see it not only resurrected but also freed from the shackles of Gamestop
I haven't done a Random Game Saturday in awhile, so here's Puppet Zoo Pilomy, a Japanese PS1 game where you create horrific abominations by assembling various animal parts
Geez this sounds rough
No worries, I didn't either

Publisher Bliss Brain and developer Implicit Conversions have announced 70s-style Robot Anime Geppy-X, a remastered version of the 1999-released, Japan-only PlayStation game 70's Robot Anime Geppy-X. It willβ¦
For reference, I played one path on the PSP version and peaced out because I kept falling asleep, but played all the way through the remake, which I felt was a big improvement in that regards. Despite how much it drags, it does come together in a really good finale.
It depends on your patience. The original version (which is the PSP one is based on) has absolutely dreadful pacing. The remake versions (the recently released one) tunes it up but it's still pretty tedious.
Broadly I prefer the remake over the original but they took away some of the best backgrounds, including this extremely disinterested merdude
Comparison pics of the Windows (original release), Xbox 360, and Switch versions of Ever17 (we have a podcast/article coming up!) The remade versions (360 and later) have a hugely rewritten script so it's hard to snap good 1:1 compares with the original

I reviewed the revamped RPG WizMan's World, known now as WizMan's World Re;Try. The monster fusions at the heart of the game's battle system and strategy are a good time, the revamped soundtrack is full of quality riffs, and it all works out to a perfectly cromulent RPG experience.
