What of people who are "working out" at like 3 machines at once? Or who can't rerack weights?
... i was going to say just shove his face in the pillows, but that works too.
Also he's going to make you wear a red wig the whole time.
Just be aware, you're gonna have to top him, and he always cries after.
Video is up on Patreon, will post publicly on YouTube later today
For X-Men 97 appropriately enough, yes. I do think they were hurrying to get through to the Morrison stuff (hence random Emma Frost) for season 2. We'll see, I guess! Who knows next... Onslaught?!
Early Jean Grey: βOh, I hope Scott holds my hand on this date!β
Early Sue Storm: βWill Reed notice my new hairdo?β
Early Mary Jane Watson: yo whatβs that hammer do, Thor
Yeah that balance between "every comic could be someone's first comic" and "there's 60 years of stories here" seems to hit some characters harder than others. You don't have to explain who Storm or Wolverine are every time. But you do have to explain like Anole or Bova's whole weird deal.
Yeah they really struggle to free her from Magneto, Wanda, or Alex and that shows in the designs. I say let her be a high fashion girl, if you want to show she's Mags daughter.
I will always hold the Strohman smoke-hair Lorna in my heart as the best overall design, especially as it's neither Wanda or Magneto inspired.
I'm just saying when current comics or other media is adapting or referencing x stories, they're generally not going for a Leifeld or Lobdell plot from 1993.
It's comics of an era. But while I avoid yucking someone's yum generally, but when it comes to X-Men, testosterone driven action figure shit with no/few women, no point, and simple plots is not doing the readers any favors.
And yet the Claremont Run before and Morrison run after are the highly regardled, best selling, and most critical parts of X History. Writing and art wise (despite valiant efforts from Nicieza and Portacio among others) the pivot to straight boys in the suburbs gives little worth revisiting
I love that they tore down the old, hideous and dated house to build a new, hideous and dated house, and then dump it. Great work, mystery weirdo with bad taste.
As real as his uncle's *three* last names.

90s X-Men is such a bizarrely puritanical sausage fest. It's as if editorial was like "so help me God, I better never see a woman. Just a torso with huge bewbs, and even then you better put Wolverine somewhere on the page."
Famously, there's a real snuff-film aspect to the main story, so that makes sense unfortunately.
And Scott is at his most Boy Scout Bro. Just an agonizing trudge.
I forget how sick I was of Summers' in the 90s. It's like them and/or wolverine in every goddamn plot.
Happy International Women's Day! Support women's rights, but also their wrongs.
Carmen Sandiego from the 90s cartoon
Happy International Women's Day to the original International Woman
I think you know it's both.

I think Stephan should have to prove he's conscious. Cogito ergo sum, bitch.
