I agree to a point but I just can’t agree that a woman, even wealthy or public, should be forced into sharing personal medical info. Especially in current times. I think we can all agree no matter what kind she had, she had it a hell of a lot better than other women, but cancer is still shit.
Don’t we already know she went private? I mean she was getting treatment at an exclusive USA facility I thought. Something that, just like what kind of cancer she had, is not useful info to anyone stuck on the NHS. Agree that women who are forced to work with cancer are made of much tougher stuff.

I have unfortunately. And I don’t think knowing what an incredibly rich and connected person who could afford treatments my people could never in a million years would have done much to help at the time. I take the point but realistically, anything she did is not going to be accessible.
I actually agree. Which is why I find it so wild that people are demanding to know the type of cancer. Her treatment and options are so far out of reach from a normal person anyway so I simply cannot see what having the info on what time of cancer she had would actually do to help anyone.
Idk what to tell you man, I’m not the one insisting that KM confirming what kind of cancer she has will magically be hopeful and inspiring to those with the same kind of cancer.

Man I just fundamentally don’t understand this. Why do you need to understand the gravity of the illness? She’s got cancer. That alone may very well be giving hope to all those with cancer, even if they’re not cancer twinsies with Kate Middleton. She doesn’t need to sate your curiosity.
So isn’t by keeping it as just general “cancer” uplifting to all those dealing with cancer, rather than her specific form of cancer? Let’s be realistic, she would never be releasing her treatment plan, so I don’t understand what medical guidance could hope to be gained from her confirming the type.
Okay but helpful literally how. Give inspiration to other mothers going through the same thing? By just giving the overall fact of cancer, isn’t she inspiring all mothers with cancer, rather than specifically stomach cancer or whatever it is. How else could the info possibly be helpful to anyone?

Sure transparency matters, but about taxpayer spending. Do you need to know if she’s a folder or a scruncher? What side of the bed she sleeps on? She’s given as much of her private info on this she wants. I don’t understand the entitlement to someone’s private info bc they happen to be public.
Why does it matter? Why does she owe you the details of her health? As you say she is a public figure. She is in no way obligated to provide you with details about her private life.
