not sure about how racists in other countries frame it, but here in the US it's often a childish tantrum anger when confronted with one's privilege. what sort of big baby doesn't want to recognize systemic bias in their favor? someone who's ungrateful for anything that's ever gone their way
so many of today's social issues can be traced back to a lack of gratitude. example i was just thinking about: white "pride" and how that type of racism is modeled only in opposition to other ethnicities (rather than simple enjoyment of one's background which can occur with or without other groups)
