Bye bitch
Bye bitch
Cease was my guy, this one hurts
Also would not have liked giving up LDL/Gibson and Brandon Young for one year of Gray. At least not until other options have dried up
I want Cease because I still see some upside there and at the very least being able to sustain for longer
I just don’t buy the projections I guess. Velo and stuff declining (still has a fantastic slider), if the walk rate slips he could be more of a BOR guy. I think he’ll be a very solid 3.75-4.25 3rd-4th SP.
As the secondary SP he would’ve been good. Not knocking the move but wonder if this means the FA SP have narrowed down their choices.
I didn’t mind Gray as a target but there are plenty of red flags plus the price. I have my sights set higher.
It’s early but I took my first crack at what I’d like the 2026 Orioles to look like.

Woke up feeling jazzed about Craig Albernaz
Keith Law says Levi Wells stuff doesn’t miss bats, fastball has no life
Levi Wells complimented on having some of the best stuff in the minor leagues
Levi Wells had the 12th best four seam fastball in the minors - in other words, plenty of life
Anyone that takes Keith Law seriously should probably stop

#Orioles to steal 30+ bases over the past 10 years:
Jonathan Villar (40 in '19)
Cedric Mullins (30 in '21, 34 in '22, 32 in '24)
Jorge Mateo (35 in '22, 32 in '23)
Gunnar Henderson (30 in '25)
Just an incredible experience!

Definitely but just thinking ahead to RH bench bat, reserve corner infield if you could get something decent for Urias.
Emmanuel Rivera -> new Urias
What if the rest of this season of TLOU is a Weekend At Bernies style comedy?
I was just adding context, nothing to do with boundaries. Anyone can just say they heard things to try and add credence to their opinions.
This was in reference to Heather saying she was “told” the team was sulky after they traded Norby and Stowers to the Marlins. In fact, his friends in the organization were very happy for them to get their chance in the majors.
Told by who because this isn’t even remotely true…

Orioles 2025 season preview is up! I think this format of visual depth charts/analysis really suits this team, because you can see how difficult it is to cram all the playing time you mentally want to dole out for all their batters into the lineup:

Jackson Holliday demolished this pitch for a two-run home run
Tavian Josenberger's future projection shows 28% chance of being a Contributor, 27% chance of being a Regular, and 8% chance of becoming a Star. Relative Statistics, measured by standard deviations from the mean, include the following metrics: Dev Spd (Developmental Speed): -0.00 Avoid K (Avoiding Strikeouts): +1.22 Disc (Plate Discipline): +1.27 HR Pwr (Home Run Power): -0.16 Gap Pwr (Gap Power): -.08 Contact: -.66 Comparison Player: Chris Coghlan (2012).
#7 @Orioles. Josenberger was absent from the O's top-30 in 2024, but he's a sleeper prospect! His calling card is elite plate discipline, walking at 13.7% in '24. His > 30% IFFB% shows a struggle to adjust to pro pitching, but he can be a + producer if he can up his con. quality!
Beginning today I will be writing and taking my content and stories to Substack. Find me at:

There will always be free content in this space but also a subscription element for readers who want more. I will be writing about the O’s in both the majors and minors.
Football season is over. Pitchers and catchers report, so I’m rocking Adley today. Happy baseball season, everyone. Go O’s.
Well ok then
