I realized this when looking at tickets for Philly, it’s an entire weekend plus a Friday afternoon/evening at once sporting event.

One thing I think will hurt grand slam with attendance is that it’s a 3 day meet. It’s hard to get people to show up to something, asking them to show up for 3 straight days is a lot.
