"You can only play solo as Rook" wrong, you can only play as you, yourself and you. We (me) are going in

Hipoly for the back section of the tank now finished. Will probably still revisit it as well as the turret section as I keep progressing, but I'm happy. Moving on to the front section and tread armour

More progress on what is arguably one of the most complex sections of the tank. Loads of bits n bobs. Happy so far

I feel like you’re about to introduce yourself, tell me I killed your father and that I should prepare to die.

For the record I don't dislike Teamspeak. I just think that from a widespread adoption point of view it's extremely unlikely people will hop over to TS, specially when setting up an account, servers, and sharing contact details is nowhere near as easy as it is with Discord

ok cool. So when are we gonna get a Discord alternative that isn't Teamspeak?

If you could see the smile on my face over this successful priming job dude. I'm over the moon with these fresh new minis

Spent Sunday stripping off the paint off 5 of my minis so I could re-prime them. The original priming coat was super rough and splotchy and now it's perfectly smooth and glossy. Had to use this opportunity since I was also planning on priming my first Pioneer hoverbike, which also turned out killer

Anyways if anyone knows someone that needs a 3D hard surface artist or generalist on a remote contract let me know lol. Might be the best case scenario to make this work while I'm there, but I feel like remote 3D jobs are few and far between these days. Will miss teaching 3D modelling at uni

If you didn't already know, being non-British means I can't get a loan like the British can so I'm in for a financing/loan institution minigame

Header text: "HEY YOU! YES YOU! TAKE THIS SHIT OUT OF LINKS!"

This is followed by a couple example urls, with a red square highlighting the sections with source identifiers. The rest of the text is as follows:

Source identifiers are used to track your activity on a site. Where you came from, what device you use, and even who you talk to. Whether it's written clearly in the url or tied to a random string of characters, it's assigned to your activity.

When you send a link containing a source identifier to somebody and they click it, it signals to the website that you two are connected. And that data goes right back to the website operators, and thus their advertisers.

Whenever you select "share" or "copy link" on a social app or website, it creates a link like this. If you give even the smallest shit about online privacy, it's important to remove them. Everything after the "?" symbol can be removed without issue, especially sections starting with "si=" or "utm_source="

I saw an infographic a couple years ago about how to remove source identifiers from links and why it's important, but I can't find it again and too many people I know are sending me links with them so here's an infographic straight from the oven
