I once dabbed a tiny bit of paint on all the snails I collected one day - about 50. I wanted to see if there was any truth to snails travelling up to a mile to go home. None of mine made the 100m.

This is a brilliant book and every school needs a copy... challenges a lot of myths and assumptions but positive about changes in practice.
