The 2025 recipient of the Janet Frame Prize is acclaimed Ōtepoti Dunedin novelist and poet Emma Neale, who will receive a gift of $10,000 from an endowment fund that Janet Frame established in 1999 to support and encourage her fellow New Zealand authors.

Wow this is the first time in my long digital life that I have been the first to claim the @pamelagordon handle. There have always been so many of us, I have always had to have suffixes. Yes it's a Boomer name, SO popular in the 50s. Now I am worried about all the other ones. Hope they are OK.
