We made a videogame about this!

Atuel is a surrealist documentary videogame about a river that crosses a desert in western Argentina, its history, and how the climate crisis threatens its future.

It's 30 minutes long and completely free!

B.C. book publishing tax credit to be made permanent - Quill and Quire First introduced in 2003, the tax credit is available to publishers that operate primarily in B.C. and receive a base amount of Support for Publishers funding under the federal Canada Book Fund.

via @nimbuspub.bsky.social - BC has now made its support for book publishers permanent, just as NS defunds its program entirely, the *only* province in the country to eliminate publishing support for its stories and storytellers.

I could swear when the one cat stands on me, her weight is multiplied into each of her stabby little feet, instead of distributed between them.

When I was about 14 years old, my longtime penpal asked me in a letter if I could please start typing instead. I fear my handwriting has not improved since.

Passion, commitment, grief, rage, and love: all in one place today. There were hundreds and hundreds of us in Halifax, and hundreds and hundreds more across the province, all rallying to support arts, culture, and heritage.

Arts, culture, heritage = the heart of us.
