Evening #runningpunks. Nice to get out after work and after Storm Amy. A mixed road and trail run with plenty of blue sky and sun. A nice view of the City in photo 3 with the Uni tower to the left and the new tallest building to the right (and still not finished). 🎧 The Stone Roses (self-titled).

It’s weekend #runningpunks. I’m not going to risk a run today. Storm Amy is pretty wild here. I did a run with a bit of cow dodging a couple of days ago (injuries still holding up). Here are a few photos from the run. There’s also a view with the City in the far distance.

Hey there #runningpunks friends. After a bit of an injury induced break, I was back running on Thursday (cow dodging) and back out today (with horsey friend) so hopefully I can now start building up distance and frequency. I didn’t know she did some solo work. Germfree Adolescents is one of my favourite albums. True story, when she was ill ahead of a gig, Poly Filla was drafted in as replacement.

Hope you enjoy the gig Dean. I have not heard of them but I’m now left with “I’ve got a brand new combined harvester” playing in my head.

Evening #runningpunks. First run in 6 days due to injury. Everything held up so hopefully I’m back! Sunny and warm when I set off, horizontal torrential rain for the last 10 mins. My horsey friends were out and good views of the City. 🎧Capdown; Civil Disobedients.

I’m two years off it and better for it.

I upgraded to a Fénix 7x a few months ago. It’s great, and dual charging by solar and cable means a very long charge life, and a reasonable price as not the latest version.

Evening #runningpunks. I missed the rain and had a lovely evening run in the sun. 14k but hampered by a recurrence of my hip flexor injury for the last 6k or so. Nice view from high up in West Leeds looking over the City. 🎧 Less Than Jake; Anthem.

Evening #runningpunks. Nice views over Leeds from the top of Drighlington, with the City Centre just out of view. Loads of horses, just a couple of dogs.🎧Massive Attack; Heligoland. With long term niggling injuries doing better, I need to start upping my distances. Kielder is only a few weeks away.

I still have no idea after two clues. I briefly thought it was Edinburgh after clue 2 but looking closer I think not.

Hey there #runningpunks, it was the Leeds RPs monthly catch up today, expertly coordinated by @kaakaapo.bsky.social. Post run coffee and doughnuts at Doboy Doughnuts (thanks Rosie). We ran the Armley Steps of Doom, Gotts Park, Kirkstall Abbey and back along the canal. Hello to Marian (first RP run).

Back out in the sun #runningpunks and another cow dodging run (but at least today they were largely snoozing and not running my way). Just over 11k but over half in the shade of the woods. 🎧 Popes Of Chillitown; To The Moon.

I’m not normally too concerned, but I normally walk rather than run past them. Yesterday though, the full herd looked to be heading my way so I didn’t hang around.

Evening #runningpunks. I didn’t post after last night’s run so here’s a selfie, one of the cows from the safety of a wall and the last of cows showing a bit more interest in me than I would like. I didn’t hang around. Way too hot and I kept the run short. 🎧The Lotts (well worth a listen).

Never heard of the band nor song. Just had a listen and love it, rest of the album now playing.
