The current series I'm reading I read back when I was 12-ish and I found it to be so witty and laugh out loud funny in parts.
I'm not 12 now and I've still got 7+ books to go.

This is an important thread. As a doctor, and as the father of a daughter incapacitated with Long Covid I know only too well how the NHS has abandoned them.

There is much to do in research into treatments and I am glad that colleagues like Binita are championing the forgotten children and adults.

Maybe it’s a bad idea to put people in charge of government who are eager for the rapture.

My Grandfather had Tourette’s. I know that he experienced prejudice and attempts to bully him. I’ve been pretty stunned that in the reaction to the Davidson episode, we’ve seen a lot of the ignorance that he, a man living his life in the mid 20th century, would have recognised only too well.

This week, and beyond, I am reading the 'Stainless Steel Rat' series by Harry Harrison.
(Also 'Fake Heroes' by Otto English in between.)

Just finished this one, my 2nd LS-R and I rather enjoyed it.
She does have a talent for making the reader stop dead in their tracks and go "WHAT?!?!"
Bonus, you really learn things about the Georgian period in London that, if you're like me, you didn't know before.
