First crochet project and first fibre FO of the year 🧶 It definitely needs a border. I’ll figure it out later. I’m just glad to get it to this point. Learned quite a bit in the process. I’m happy~

Final crochet tally for the year is 12 squares 🧶 I am pleased. My only regret is that I couldn’t quite capture the colours correctly in photos. Making a 4x4 table…cozy? I’ll finish the rest tomorrow and assemble to ring in the new year.
I have decided to frog this. I’d rather have a finished knit object that I enjoy and take my time with than finishing it for the sake of having finished something.

Trying to learn how to crochet, take 3! I managed to make the squares this time! Played a bit with tension. Still figuring how to hold it…intuitively? Good feeling? Also, pulling comfortably for stitch length I guess? Having fun though. Maybe I can make a couple more squares before the year ends.

Sweater update: I haven’t gotten too far with it but I’m also thinking of starting over as it looks a bit wider than the size I’d like it to be. It’s bottom up and I’m around 6 stripes away from the part where I have to separate front and back.
Learning how to crochet by making granny squares. This one ended up staying round though because I miscounted and ended up with 14 puff stitches instead of 16.
Trying to learn how to crochet, take 2! I’m finding tension harder to manage than knitting. I miscounted on the second round for this one so instead of a square it’s becoming a coaster. Going to try again.

First sweater WIP
🧶 First sweater WIP. Cast on, yesterday, first time trying a double strand knit: mohair + merino combo
Knit this before but I’m redoing it because I want to. Colour-wise, I thought it would be better to just do an accent stripe for the green instead of alternating randomness. I guess this is turning into a knitting diary? Gonna try to pick up on crocheting again after this. Maybe other stuff too!
Knit some scarves that go with the 🥌 toques.
