I'd be lying if I said I was not very concerned about my book signing tomorrow and all upcoming appearances I have. Now more than ever, though, it is important for those of us who can be public with our identities, are. I won't back down. We deserve to live unafraid, and I intend to do just that.

My car got fixed <3 and despite a small personal setback, everything else that has happened today has been great!

Today has been one of the best days I have had all year.

Just when I feel like giving up, someone swooped in to send what I needed to keep my car. Im going to get it fixed and registered tomorrow!

I have been feeling so out of place, clawing my way through this whole "being an author" thing. Begging people for chances that never come. But... I needed the messaging of Higher Magic. I needed the reminder, that I do belong. This is who I am, and I don't need to ask permission for that.

It is full of whimsy, heart, love, and hope. It is truly a magical read, and I implore anyone who enjoys fantasy grounded in reality to pick it up immediately. This book, especially the last 10 chapters, hit me very personally.
