The one thing that is guaranteed is that all the Conservatives will show up to vote. So we have to use the power we have to stop them with our votes.

My brother Seth with a key point: no society will pull together to embrace change if the burdens aren't fairly shared.

That means corporations making real sacrifices. If the burdens are all dumped on working people, while the rich get tax cuts and other goodies, social solidarity will collapse.
