Help Rodney Taylor, a Disabled Double Amputee Being Held by ICE Rodney has been in the country more than 40 years. He's in solitary confinement in Georgia, being denied disability accommodations and having his medical needs ignored. He must be released.

This is Rodney Taylor, a disabled double amputee who’s been imprisoned by ICE for a year.

He was about to get new prosthetic legs when he was kidnapped… and they won’t let him have them.

His health is declining & there’s been almost no media coverage.

No protests. No noise.

Disabled people are part of the future.
We must and should imagine and dream of futures where disabled people don't just exist but are everywhere, as we should be.
This need to fix/cure all disability is a eugenicist dreaming, and we should want better for ourselves.

The pandemic didn’t end.

The bigots in charge know that an unmitigated pandemic causes disproportionate death & disability of the groups they hate: trans folks, poor folks, immigrants, disabled folks, BIPOC communities, &c.

Don’t let them turn you into a weapon. Mask up. Give/get mask mutual aid:

It’s been six years since the first reported case of SARSCov2.

It’s never too late to wear a mask.

It’s never too late to clean the air.

Every infection avoided or delayed is a win for long term health.

We can drastically reduce transmission if everyone does their part.

I’m heartbroken to hear our warrior Alice Wong @sfdirewolf.bsky.social has passed. She was so important to me & welcoming of me. This is the great loss of a true fighter. May she rise to power as an ancestor, may we never forget her lessons & continue her work for disability justice.

No borders, UBI for everyone, education, housing and healthcare should always be free & we should mitigate against the ongoing pandemic instead of shrugging
