Poland Prays for Redemption… for some Poland has finally done what many fans have been waiting for since 2020 – Alicja is off to Eurovision, and this time she actually gets to sing. Pray won Finał krajowych kwalifikacji 2026 in convincing fashion, topping a solid eight–song line‑up and securing Poland’s ticket to Vienna.​ One show, eight songs, one runaway winner TVP stuck all its eggs in one basket this year with a single national final, Finał krajowych kwalifikacji 2026, staged on 6th March and broadcast on the 7th in a one hour show.

Explain it to me like I am five, please? Well despite the songs being of questionable quality, some dodgy hosting choices early on and the ridiculous substitution of Bidrag for melodi which was put right quickly enough, SVT remembered how to do a Melodifestivalen final. A great shiny floor spectacular greeted the 30,000+ in the Strawberry Arena and, if you have been following this circus for what seems to be about a million weeks, you know how this goes.

Was this result ever in any doubt? San Marino has finally got the memo for Eurovision : if in doubt, call Senhit. On 6 March at the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana, the newly‑minted San Marino Song Contest wrapped up with Senhit and Boy George taking the ticket to Vienna with “Superstar” – a title that’s not exactly underselling the package. The UK legend stayed at a safe distance from Dogana (by not actually being there but being on tape!) but his name on the billing was more than enough to swing a very friendly jury in their direction.

Romania and it’s questionable lyrical content…. i can't say I watched the Romanian final so I'm just gonna put the result and the song up because a National Final on a WEdnesday is a little bit alien! I just think it is a little bit questionable for someone to send a song called Choke Me in the current climate.  I know I very rarely give an opinion on this website, cos it's not my place to do so, but this doesn't feel right.  Sorry
