What a neat process! I'll have to try that with chalk.
A couple model drawings from my Life Drawing class. Can't believe the semester is nearly over, what a great experience its been to be able to draw from life, with others in the room all consumed in the same silent study of the human figure.
Been working on some native Maine flowers: pink lady slipper and red trillium. I still have a bit of work to do to finish these off, but I already really like them. (both 9x12 - canvas panel)
An acrylic painting I did this winter for the Eastport, Me "Hearts for the Arts" auction. Bright and beautiful, I think I'll likely do this one over again.
Thought I'd post a few more of the graphite portraits I've been working on in my life drawing class since I was able to pin them up together (along with a rendering of Raphael's "Lucretia"). I'm really enjoying exploring faces!
Hey BlueSky,
This is me. A peculiar emerging artist who has recently begun pursuing a BFA at UMaine. I'm looking forward to connecting with new people here who also love art!
