It does feel like we need to wait for the X-Men to get enough ‘mutants’ cards. Or hopefully sooner. Only deck for mutants I got to work was Genghis Frog and that’s only because +\+ counter syngeries fill in all the gaps.
1. The enemies of the turtles are the ninjas of the Foot Clan. Hence, feet everywhere.
2. Disappear can work off of ninjutsu. Ninja vanish into reappear.
3. Totally. Set is fun, have fun, ask questions and enjoy life
Seeing the utter hatred for this set is mind boggling. So many comments on how Lessons from Life is the ‘sign of the end’ when it’s just a fun adorable piece. Honestly I think if this set was seen before Spiderman, it would have a warmer reception.
Ran this in a Belakor deck for a while to fit the demon theme. Funny enough, while it was in my deck I could never get the mana base consistent. I removed it and suddenly the deck functioned perfectly. Friends and I joked it was a cursed item and I finally purged it.
This feels like a nice middle of the pack bracket 3 deck, maybe slightly high end. It feels stronger than most low end B3 decks that are maybe B2s plus 1 game changer, but I can see decks built for B3 and optimized in the bracket disrupting and beating this deck. Really cool there’s no GCs.
Honestly, good for them. That’s some sweet luck. If I was in their shoes I’d feel bad but also really stocked to ‘do the thing’. It’s an easy ‘gg go again’, can’t feel too mad about it.
Not too bad. They come down at a turn when people are either set up or got engines online, so they’re not too oppressive. Plus creatures can be dealt with. More curious what their end goal is and hoping to see another Zombie lover with that Grave
Putting the BnR announcement on the same day as a Secret Lair drop is certainly a choice. The vibes will already be sour I feel, so the BnR changes will be that much more felt. Hopefully people will step away more often than not.

That can be a major bother too, but I imagine it can be mitigated by having the cards they steal in exile by the players; and ask them to play them to their field. That way everyone is aware of what they own that’s under the thief’s control and they can control the touching.
Always cool with me to see a thief deck do things. The thief deck just needs to be sure they give back the cards they took at the end of the evening. Had one deck bow out early at an LGS and took my laughing jasper flint by accident.

It’s a dang shame. If anything, the heroes have more targeting than the villains.
This is my biggest issue with Spiderman. It felt like the perfect opportunity to add in more outlaw support, or at minimum, more outlaws period. There’s only like five in the whole set when the motif is superheroes against criminals? At least expand the grouping to use more inter-set connectivity
