Started work on scalemail, and kept slipping with my pliers and stabbing myself in the side of the finger.

I talked on stream about how when I do leatherwork, I try to be conscientious that this was an animal, and use every scrap I can-

Today I realized that chainmaille has a warp and a weft and that I have a good bit of fixing to do

Yeah... 😭 I did the math and it's going to take at least 72 hours just running the dang machine.

Yeah…I originally wanted to do this by hand, but then I realized that it’s going to take 72 hours of direct stitching time by machine.

I’d like to have it done sometime this decade, so 😭

I have an all new appreciation for those 18th century jackets though.

5.5. Oh no I have to run this like 50 million times to cover all the fabric

2. There was a digitizing error. Unpick the first botched key.

3. Re-digitize

4. Re-pin the fabric except you’re flustered now

4.5. Remove the pin from your finger - it doesn’t go there.

5. Start the new file while debating if a ritual sacrifice might help
