Two weeks ago @zackpolanski.bsky.social went to Palantir's London HQ to tell the US spyware company to get the hell out of the NHS.

Zack has now written to Wes Streeting urging him to end Palantir's NHS contract, citing links between Mandelson, his lobbying firm, and Palantir.

Don McCullin review – shattered stone heads and severed limbs echo the horrors he saw in war The feted photographer’s latest exhibition starts with images of ancient scultures depicting devotion and violence, before moving to war pictures and brooding Somerset landscapes

Ok regarding my log cabin and otters - I’m willing to take some other like minded people. Who else wants to escape all of this?

Every day my idea of a log cabin, by a lake with only otters for company seems more and more appealing

I must love my dad. I’ve been vegan for 12 years, vegetarian for 40 and in the past two days I’ve made him an omelette and a ham sandwich. I won’t deny; it was bloody horrible, but he’s my dad in palliative care. I can’t deny him what he wants.

Went down an @archive.org rabbit hole last night and found the perfect Christmas gifts. Hang them on the Christmas tree, smoke them with Santa or get a Bellhop to deliver them to you. β€œ You know what I got for Christmas? … I got a carton of cigarettes. The old man … said, "Hey, smoke up Johnny."

Enjoying a cup of (vegan) mead, with my cousin, by the ancient oak tree after listening to some beautiful singing. I needed this today; reconnecting with nature has allowed me to start working through my anticipatory grief. #wintersolstice #gippeswyck #ipswich

Rescued owl was 'too fat to fly', Suffolk sanctuary says

Suffolk

An owl rescued from a ditch and thought to be injured was in fact just too fat to fly, a bird rescue centre has said.

And a picture of a rather offended looking owl

Right - I’m going to be honest - and personal. Christmas is a terrible time of year for me. 2 years ago we lost my mum and my brother-in-law. Last year I lost my cat (my girl). This year my father is in palliative care on oxygen downstairs. I can’t feel anything right now. Sorry for being a grinch

Noooooooooooooo as long as they leave Robin and Max alone actually I can cope with Steve the Hair going. But Dustin doesn’t deserve that much grief.

All I’ve seen after randomly selecting images, is this man had NO taste. I’m intrigued about the blacked out images and his desktop scribble pad. Looks like an IP address on one of them.
