A lot of people who follow animation online would say that it's been back for a while and that is true. But none of those recent films has had the reach any big new Disney Animation or Pixar film had so far.

And I think we're unfortunately not gonna see that reach until Disney does it themselves.

Unfortunately, I really do think that in order for theatrical 2D animation films to be truly seen as actually “back” by the masses, there needs to be a new movie from Walt Disney Animation Studios themselves purely out of the fact that that studio is a household name that carries so much weight.

Why does San Fransokyo Street on a Disney Cruise ship look more like San Fransokyo than San Fransokyo Square in a Disney Park? 😭

I'm saying this because I think it'd be such a good idea to bring back the development side of Disney Interactive and let new internal talent not only create games but also use it as research and development for finding creative new gameplay loops for different kinds of experiences. (2/2)

Yeah, Josh being CEO is the least surprising option, but it's a little interesting that Dana gets to be CCO.

OpenAI is rapidly losing money and is projected to lose $14 billion in 2026 alone. If they can't get another round of funding, OpenAI could run out of money as soon as 2027.

This movie is an absolute masterclass of storytelling and animation with an heir that can only be found in Disney Animation movies.

It deserves to be called one of their best and IMO surpasses the first Zootopia in every way and I can’t wait for them to see how they expand this world in the future.

This movie reminded me why I’ve always wanted to one day work at Disney Animation.

And while I have a lot of really complicated feelings about their corporate side… there’s still a part of me that hopes I can work with them someday eventually.
