I had to come back and find this because I just said "way to go, TERF Shoes" out loud at an Unrivaled Instagram post :D

Yeah. I'm really salty about it
This makes me very sad (but it totally unsurprising if you know boy/men's hockey culture) www.boston.com/news/educati...
The way I just forwarded this to all of the law librarians in my department and now on to the writing faculty.
This will go in every class where we teach tech competence.
not entirely the point but also a reminder that Substack just partnered with Polymarket so if you needed another reason to get off the Nazi platform, this is it
Hahahaha.
I was at my local indie and the counter person was like "oh i love your books" and then called me Alison... LOLOL
Oh my god. I can't wait to start getting them for books by Alison Cochrun (I have already be confused for her in real life)
If I was a blackhole of charisma, I would maybe not want to stand next to Connor Storrie on the SNL stage.
(this is about the Hughes brothers. Keller and Knight were perfect)
(but we are all suck of the snow and ready for spring, thank you very much)
When I was in high school we had two back to back snow days after our spring break. It was one of the most fun things that ever happened in boarding school.
It felt impossible to have two days off in a row let alone after a vacation (so no homework!)
My kids are getting to experience that now.
Looking out at the blizzard and wondering how on earth I'm getting my mile in today...
Might be a run in my house day (I do not have a treadmill, it literally means running around my kitchen until my watch says I hit a mile)
in public, the men's hockey team has been supportive of the women's team, going to games, cheering them on, saying they were inspired by the OT golden goal
must be gutting to feel that support and then get first-hand evidence that behind closed doors, when it's just The Boys, they're laughing at you
It's wild to watch women who are obsessed with hockey romance be confronted with the reality of men's hockey players being the absolute worst.
One of the most formative quotes in my life is from A League of Their Own
Too hard? It’s supposed to be hard. If it wasn’t hard everyone would do it. It’s the hard that makes it great.
The struggle is not a skippable part of the process!
this is one of the best hockey games I've ever seen but I keep wondering: are any of these men's hockey players married or related to women that I've heard of? what is the US women's hockey team up to right now
Women’s hockey is such a small world
Ellen Hughes played at UNH when I was a middle schooler. My team got to practice with them (that team was stacked with superstars)
Now two of her boys play for team USA

Tha USA Canada game had a lot of weird bounces off the glass (including that short handed goal) but I haven’t heard any talk about how the rink was a rush job to the finish and maybe the glass isn’t done right.
The speed skating announcers are so much better than the hockey announcers.
Remarking on Hilary Knight hydrating at the race 😂😂😂
Our family waited to watch the hockey until we were all together and we just screamed!
Let’s go USA
I am now removing myself form all social media for a while because I am going to watch later with my family when they get home!
Happy Team USA-Team Canada day to all of us!
Image with a dark blue background, the ebook and audiobook covers for Unexpected Goals, and the text "You asked for a Canada/U.S. sapphic women's hockey romance for the Winter Olympics. Here you go! Ebook on sale for $1.99!"
Today's the day all sporty sapphics dream about: The women's hockey Olympic gold medal game featuring Team Canada vs. Team USA. 🏒🌈💖
This rivalry inspired UNEXPECTED GOALS & is at the heart of the enemies to lovers romance between American forward Jen & Canadian goalie Maisy. And the eBook's on sale!
It's so cool to see WAKE UP, NAT & DARCY in the media and lists about hockey romance. I truly appreciate it.
I would also appreciate it if folks could spell my name right. It's correct on the cover of the book that is usually right next to where my name is misspelled. *sigh*
Sue Bird is learning to figure skate, Kylie and Jason Kelce are learning all kinds of Olympic sports... hmm did someone read WAKE UP, NAT & DARCY and get some programming ideas?
Why are we talking to men’s hockey nepo babies at the women’s game?
NBC has a type for the women’s games and its women who played at Harvard in the early 2000s.
Did I just send this to my daughters who I always tell "you have each other and you are the only ones who will ever understand how bananas your moms are, be nice!"
